We are seeking an independent and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow for a 2 year project exploring the biology of human oligodendroglia, examining their transcriptional states and whether this gives us clues as to why they generally fail to myelinate in culture. We aim to understand what type of oligodendrocyte we need to generate to obtain myelin in culture, and optimally achieve myelin in simple culture systems.
