Research at CRM is aimed at developing new treatments for major diseases including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, liver failure, as well as degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. We also train the next generation of basic and clinical scientists and act as a centre for excellence in public engagement and source of advice for policy makers.
Philanthropy in research is increasingly important as funding streams change. It is thanks to people like you that we are able to attract the brightest minds and provide world-class research facilities to study the fundamental biology of stem cells and use that knowledge to better understand diseases and develop new treatments.
